Let’s throw it back to the summer of ’13 for a sec – that’s when my whole world flipped upside down. I was a project coordinator in the arts and entertainment biz, and man, did I love it… until I didn’t and by 2010, I was just going through the motions.
But, you know how life loves a good plot twist, right? Fast forward to 2013, and my company decides it’s time to trim the sails. My name pops up on the list, and just like that, I’m out of there.
So, I’m wide awake from my career snooze-fest, wondering, “Now what?”
Here’s where things get real:
- I knew I was done with the corporate ladder climbing and office politics – been there, done that, got the T-shirt.
- Next up, I dove headfirst into the online world, hunting for that golden business idea. I had my sights set on something in marketing, where I could really make waves.
- Talk about a tough crowd, though. My first few months? Let’s just say they were a mix of hope, hard work, and… well, a whole lot of nothing. But hey, failure’s just the universe’s way of saying, “Not this way, buddy.”
- Learning the ropes took a hot minute, but stick with it I did. And soon enough, things started clicking into place.
From that first sweet taste of commission to going full-time as an internet marketer, I’ve ridden the ups and downs like a pro surfer.
